Now I love K-Flo, but I think its time Maynard got a title shot; and he is certainly deserving.
I'm more excited for Toney v. Couture than a fat kid for cake!
Great, great questions. I realized every time I submit my picks to CageSage I'm even more eager to watch event.
I want to see Toney KO Randy (even though I really like him as a person). Guy is funny as hell, but he seriously is dangerous and I believe he doesn't take this fight lightly, training with AKA and other top fighters. Would be great if he shut up all those haters with nice right hook.
And if Penn losses this, I stop watching UFC.
We know Couture has a questionable chin, we saw Liddell drop him quickly in their second fight. Toney definitely has a better chance in this then the oddsmakers are giving him.
However, I think Couture will attack smartly and get in on Toney early without letting a punch connect cleanly.
If the fight goes out of the first round, either way, I will be in shock.
Holy shit, Joe Rogan said it best, Lauzon just demolished Ruediger.
That was painful to watch... but a great way to get pumped back up for tonight after that first lackluster match.
Miller by "Ninja Choke"!
I love seeing new submissions pulled off beautifully. Probably my favorite part of the fight game.
Any news on the strike count? Davis and Diaz are landing a lot! but I need Davis in the lead...
Damn dude... Davis looks fucked up!
Pretty sure Diaz landed more strikes, I'll confirm against the official FightMetrics later, but I'm giving that question to Diaz for now.
I hate you...
I hate that you suck so bad. I really wish you were better, I do.
How's the going away party by the way? You commenting from your EVO?
I am! and its amazing... such a great phone! party is okay, would rather be at my place with your projector like we originally planned... next time!
l had Diaz by decision, almost happened. What happened to me thinking Davis can land more strikes when Diaz has the reach advantage?.... Let's go Florian!
I'm with you... I had Davis by decision too. pulling a goose egg at the moment, go me!
l knew this was going to happen because of the Sherk fight, but l hate Maynard so l couldn't bet on him
Haha, wanja. I feel you, but I bet Maynard and took the win. It'm not a big fan either, but he's got that tough to beat wrestler style.
Unfortunately, he's probably going to be champion some day and we'll have to live through his boring takedown to decision matches that last 25 minutes.
I wanna win again. haha. KenFlo dropped the ball, man.
I'm still in the lead going into Couture/Toney, but it's been cut to just 1 point! Getting heated.
From 14th to 10th to 5th, time to take over... Wouldn't be the first time l did it this way
By the way, it's been confirmed that Diaz outstruck Davis 2 to 1 in their fight earlier.

I have a goose egg for two fights so far... I'm going to let the monkey make my picks next time!
You have to admit Randy looks good for 47...
l hoped Randy would TKO Toney
well at least I picked Couture by submission!
Damnit. Penn just cost me two big parlays. Picked everything else tonight almost perfectly, then just blew the main event.
Congrats to either tcrowl18 or CerealRazor, one of you guys is going to win tonight. It will all come down to the Fight of the Night, but I think you both got that wrong so it will be trcrowl18 holding on to his lead.
I'll make it official once the press conference happens.
Props to Edgar for silencing his critics and beating one of the best fighters in the world 50-45 in their rematch. No one can doubt his claim to the belt at this point.
Unfortunately, I believe he is going to lose to Maynard again and give him the belt which will make the Lightweight division one of the most uninteresting ones in the sport with an unlikable champion that is tough to beat.
Brings back memories of the Heavyweight division with Tim Sylvia as champion until Couture kicked his ass and opened that division back up.
I picked Diaz/Davis for fight of the night. Seems like it should be. JLau was amazing but too one sided to be FotN.
yup. Davis -Diaz Fight of the night. Still not enough to win but I'll take the extra 50 points. haha.
Yes, it's official, Diaz vs. Davis was FoTN. Surprisingly only two of you picked that fight.
tcrowl18 holds on to his lead and is tonight's winner.
That is surprising! Two tough scrappers who don't quit, seemed obvious to me. I'm pissed I picked Randy via sub and then changed my mind at the last minute.
Congrats tcowl!
Oh Chief, Did anyone pick Toney?
Yep, two people picked Toney to win.
nice. first ppv win
I never saw Tim Sylvia's title rain like that. He won both titles with a KO and had some great KOs in between... His fights with Monson and the third Arlovski fight sucked but he is 100 time more interesting then Maynard
Haha, l remember watching Edgar against Tyson Griffin, which was an awesome fight but l though Griffin won. And Rogan said "They will be the champions some day!", and l though "Yeah, wright"... Of course Edger did became much better
I agree with you that Tim's fights were more exciting than Marnard's, but that wasn't my point. My comment was about an unlikable champion that is tough to beat. Tim had all the tools: one of the first 'big' heavyweights, long reach, KO power, and a style that neutralized most opponents. However, I never liked him and I always got the impression he was pretty reviled by the MMA community in general.
It sucks when you have someone like that as champion and you're stuck with them because they are also good and keep winning. I think Maynard will have a run as champion like that, where you are almost always rooting for him to lose.
